(Oct. 15, 2025) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Orlando Perez assigned to Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC) Whiting Field, a branch of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Pensacola, prepared a manikin for tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) at NBHC Whiting Field, Oct. 15,2025. NBHC Whiting Field held a “Top Doc” program that was a competition designed for corpsmen that are E-5 and below to compete in training that consist of a TCCC course, sutures, basic life support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other field medical procedures to ensure field and operational readiness.
