Members of the D.C. Army National Guard’s Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB) are recognized during the inaugural awards banquet at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Dec. 18, 2025. Awards included Recruiter of the Year, Rookie of the Year, team awards, staff excellence and recognition awards (impact, community engagement, leadership). Additionally, Brig. Gen. Leland D. Blanchard II, Commanding General (Interim) of the D.C. National Guard, joined other Capital Guardians recognized for their work and contributions to the recruiting mission as inductees into the Order of Saint Cajedan, the highest honor in Recruiting and Retention.
