YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 16, 2025) – U.S. Navy Sailors, assigned to Seawolf-class fast-attack submarine USS Seawolf (SSN 21), oversee mooring operations as the submarine pulls into Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka for a scheduled port visit, Dec. 16, 2025. Seawolf, homeported in Silverdale, Washington, and assigned to Submarine Development Squadron 5, is conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
