Spc. Alejandro Rodriguez of Echo Forward Support Company (FSC), 2-159 Attack Battalion, prepares a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) to be "sling-loaded" underneath a CH-47 Chinook. Proper steps must be taken to ensure that the U.S. Army equipment remains undamaged and operational during transportation by "sling-load". By following the procedures to "sling-load" equipment, 2-159 Attack Battalion's equipment can be rapidly transported to any region in the V Corps area of responsibility. This further enables 2-159 Attack Battalion to support any mission to deter, and if necessary, defeat any aggression throughout the European Theater.
