During "sling-load" training, soldiers of Echo Forward Support Company (FSC), 2-159 Attack Battalion, refuel a CH-47 Chinook at a rapidly deployed Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP). In addition to the ongoing "sling-load" training, Echo FSC utilized the opportunity to establish a FARP to refuel a CH-47 Chinook. By training to rapidly deploy a FARP and fueling different aircraft, the soldiers of Echo FSC are training to support the mission of V Corps throughout the European Theater. The rapid deployment of a FARP demonstrates 2-159 Attack Battalion's capability to deploy to any environment and have established support for any aircraft or mission.
