Originally from Fort Walton Beach, FL, MU2 Sloan joins us following a successful tour with U.S. Fleet Forces Band in Norfolk, VA.
Before transitioning to the Navy, he served as a U.S. Army musician, performing with the 98th Army "Silver Wings" Band at Fort Rucker, the U.S. Army Europe Band & Chorus, and the 215th Army Band. His Navy assignments include Navy Band Great Lakes and the NAVEUR-NAVAF Band.
Before enlisting, MU2 Sloan attended Florida State University and Boston Conservatory.
