U.S. Army Garrison Italy’s Caserma Carlo Ederle, named in honor of Italian Army Maj. Carlo Ederle, an artillery officer killed in action during World War I, welcomes U.S. service members and visitors at Vicenza, Italy, Dec. 12, 2025. The installation is home to USAG–I, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and the 173rd Airborne Brigade, among other units.
