During the weeklong event, planners from France, Italy, Tunisia and the U.S., including representatives with the Wyoming National Guard, which shares a State Partnership Program with Tunisia, worked on details to ensure a successful exercise. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), African Lion is U.S. Africa Command’s largest multi-domain, multinational exercise that utilizes innovation and experimentation, supports counter-terrorism efforts, increases joint readiness and enables partner-led regional security.
