250922-O-NJ594-1057, Sept. 19, 2025, Virginia Beach, Va. -- Staff from the Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) and Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit TWO (NEPMU-2) attended the annual Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana Air Show to participate in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) event, Sept. 19, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Staff with the NMCFHPC and NEPMU-2 set up a variety of interactive stations to educate students in a fun and captivating way and providing hands-on experiences to ignite a spark of interest for STEM. Over 8,000 students attended the event, with many visiting the stations and being introduced to the wide range of scientific and technical career opportunities available in Navy Medicine.
