From right, Utilitiesman 3rd Class Samantha Buehler from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 laughs with her son, Jayden, and new fiance Builder 2nd Class George Negron who proposed moments after Buehler returned from a three week field training exercise (FTX). NMCB 3 successfully completed their final training event which tested the battalion's command and control functions through a variety of realistic scenarios encountered during Seabee deployments. The Seabee battalion provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighters capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
