Shortly after receiving an Army Achievement Medal recognizing his excellent performance, U.S. Army Sgt. Michael Westendorf poses with a photo he took while serving at Caserma Del Din, Italy, Nov. 20, 2025. The photo he holds has made him a member of the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) Public Affairs Office’s Combat Camera Hall of Fame. Westendorf, a Soldier assigned to the 55th Public Affairs Company, has led a three-person combat camera team providing public affairs coverage of several events for SETAF-AF in Italy and Germany during a six-month rotation.
