The remains of a 40mm grenade training round paint the ground orange May 14 at the Central Training Area near Camp Hansen. Marines fired MK-19 grenade launchers, M203 grenade launchers and M32 semiautomatic grenade launchers during a live-fire training exercise. The Marines honed their skills with the various weapons systems during the exercise, employing both target practice grenades and 40mm high explosive dual purpose grenades.
