NAVAL STATION NORFOLK, Va. (Nov. 18, 2025) – Vice Adm. Doug Perry, commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet, prepares to board the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) at Naval Station Norfolk, Nov. 18, 2025. Vice Adm. Perry visited to thank Sailors for their support of the Titans of the Sea Presidential Review celebrating the Navy’s 250th birthday last month. U.S. 2nd Fleet, reestablished in 2018 in response to the changing global security environment, develops and employs ready maritime forces to fight across multiple domains in the Atlantic and Arctic in order to ensure access, deter aggression, and defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
