U.S. Army Soldiers from the 207th Military Intelligence Brigade – Theater held a Noncommissioned Officer Induction Ceremony, welcoming newly promoted NCOs into the Corps on July 18, 2025, at Caserma Miotto, Vicenza, Italy, to recognize their transition into the leadership ranks and reaffirm the standards of the NCO Corps. Before stepping through the arches, inductees completed a perimeter ruck around Caserma Miotto alongside fellow Soldiers, NCOs, and officers to highlight the physical and mental endurance expected of Army noncommissioned officers. CSM Damian M. Vollmer, SETAF-AF, participated in the ruck and led from the front, reinforcing the example he challenged the new NCOs to uphold.
The ceremony included reflections on NCO history, a recitation of the NCO Creed, and remarks from CSM Vollmer, who emphasized mentorship, accountability, and purpose-driven leadership. “You are now the critical link between the command’s intent and the execution on the ground,” Vollmer said. “You must translate guidance into action and inspire others to understand the purpose behind that action.” The 207th Military Intelligence Brigade – Theater supports U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, by providing intelligence capabilities across the AFRICOM area of responsibility.
