Yuji Kuroiwa, the governor of Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, center, and Brig. Gen. James Dooghan, commander, U.S. Army, Japan, right, participate in roundtable talks on Oct. 9, 2025, at the Adm. Arleigh A. Burke Officers Club onboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. The roundtable talks are an annual meeting between Kanagawa prefecture government officials and U.S. Navy and Army forces in Japan. The talks are designed to offer an opportunity to discuss current events and relations between the U.S. military and the people of Kanagawa Prefecture.
