SEMBACH, Germany - U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Carlos Orsini was promoted Tuesday, Nov. 4, in a ceremony held at the Sembach Chapel. Promoting Orsini was U.S. Army Col. Kelley Tomsett (left), chief of Dental Services for Medical Readiness Command, Europe. Since August 2023, Orsini oversaw Army dental readiness across Europe and Africa and will now become the senior enlisted leader for the Soldier Readiness Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. During his tenure, Orsini led more than 400 dental personnel in Germany, Italy and Belgium, supporting over 40,000 U.S. Army Soldiers.
