CARIBBEAN SEA (Oct. 21, 2025) The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) approaches the Henry J. Kaiser-class replenishment oiler USNS Joshua Humphreys (T-AO 188), center, and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109), in preparation for a replenishment-at-sea while underway in the Caribbean Sea, Oct. 20, 2025. U.S. military forces are deployed to the Caribbean in support of the U.S. Southern Command mission, Department of War-directed operations, and the president’s priorities to disrupt illicit drug trafficking and protect the homeland.
