U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Jacksonville District Deputy Commander Maj. Matthew Westcott and liaison officer Jake Edwards listen in on an emergency operations briefing discussing the flooding in Mount Dora and Eustis with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, the St. Johns River Water Management District, and Lake County, Florida Emergency Management. USACE is supporting an emergency response unwatering mission to address flooding in impacted communities. The unwatering mission will assist with pumping excess water from areas surrounding Lake County.
