WASHINGTON (Oct. 27, 2025) — U.S. Army Capt. Exaviar Godsey, with the 124th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, Georgia Army National Guard, supports Joint Task Force–District of Columbia during the D.C. Safe and Beautiful mission in Washington, D.C., Oct. 27, 2025. In this role, he oversees joint media operations and briefs public affairs teams within the Joint Information Center. Godsey recently earned a doctorate in business administration, focusing on strategy and innovation.
“Being here has given me a holistic view of how joint forces work together between the Air and Army National Guard,” Godsey said. “It’s also given me a better understanding of how our mission impacts both the D.C. community as a whole and the D.C. National Guard members serving here.”
