Tyson Thomson, maintenance officer, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37, left, on the historical significance of Hangar 101, during a visit to Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 21, 2025. Hangar 101 was severely damaged during the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor and recently underwent a renovation to accommodate modern aircraft.
