TSgt Kyle Gurnon, a loadmaster with the 143rd Airlift Squadron in Quonset of the Rhode Island National Guard, assists in the loading of vehicles in a C-130 bound for assistance with hurricane relief in Mississippi and Louisiana. Four KC-135 aircraft from the 121st Air Refueling Wing transported 300 members of the 134 Field Artillery to Camp Shelby in Mississippi to support hurricane response operations on Sunday, September 4, 2005. The soldiers were sent to assist with hurricane relief in Mississippi and Louisiana. They come from from A Battery, 1-134 Field Artillery (Marion), B Battery, 1-134 Field Artillery (Alliance), C Battery, 1-134 Field Artillery (Piqua) and the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery (Columbus). Like many of the other Ohio soldiers already deployed or in route, the 1-134 will be performing security missions in support of local law enforcement authorities.
