U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle (WIX 327) passes through the Panama Canal, Sept. 6, 2025, on its way home to New London, Connecticut. The transit concluded Eagle’s 2025 summer deployment, which took the ship’s crew and U.S. Coast Guard Academy cadets to the West Coast for the first time since 2008. During the deployment, Eagle made 13 port calls, traveling as far north as Victoria, Canada. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Chief Warrant Officer Sherri Eng)
