CLOVIS, California (Sept 30, 2025) – Lauren Leonard, a firefighter with the Sierra National Forest’s Bass Lake Ranger District Engine 312 fells a hazard tree within the Garnet Fire footprint. At 99 percent contained, efforts on the fire have shifted to suppression repair as crews work to remediate dozer lines, repair handlines and get roads back to a usable state by the public.
