250928-N-IE405-1107 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (Sept. 28, 2025) Fire Controlman 2nd Class Joshua Jefferson, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), participates in a vessel inspection scenario for the Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) tactical assessment aboard the ship conducted by Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 60 at the NATO Marathi Pier Complex, Sept. 28, 2025. Roosevelt is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support the warfighting effectiveness, lethality and readiness of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and defend U.S., Allied and partner interests in the region.
