    U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, currently forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, speak to Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members while standing a short distance from a JGSDF Multiple Launch Rocket System used as a part of live-fire training conducted during Resolute Dragon 25 at Yausubetsu Maneuver Area, Hokkaido, Japan, Sept. 23, 2025. The forces conducted training with the JGSDF Multiple Launch Rocket System alongside the U.S. Marine Corps High Mobility Artillery Rocket System. Resolute Dragon is an annual bilateral exercise in Japan that strengthens the command, control, and multi-domain maneuver capabilities of U.S. Marines in III Marine Expeditionary Force and Japan Self-Defense Force personnel, with a focus on controlling and defending key maritime terrain.
