U.S. Air National Guard Maj. Michael Jacoby is sprayed with water and champagne by enthusiastic friends and family following his final ‘fini-flight’ before retirement from the Connecticut Air National Guard, East Granby, Connecticut, Sept 20, 2025. The fini-flight is a long-standing tradition that invites family and friends to celebrate the culmination of an aviator’s career. Jacoby shared this celebration with Lt. Col Michael Armstrong, Maj. Jarrett Gran, and Master Sgt Michael Baycura, flight crew with the 103d Operations Group.
