U.S. Navy Adm. Christopher W. Grady, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, is greeted by Dr. Andrew Grider, Stafford Middle School Principal and Mrs. Sandra Osborn, Chief of Communications, in Stafford Va., Sept. 17, 2025. Adm. Grady was at Stafford Middle School to judge the STEM paper tower challenge conducted by a 6th grade class. This is the fourth consecutive year of the VCJCS STEM challenge. Its mission is to nurture STEM expertise and empower the next generation of leaders with the problem-solving, communication, and technology skills needed to strengthen our nation’s future.
