    Polish Brig. Gen. Grzegorz Kaliciak, commander of the 15th Mechanized Brigade, presents U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Joseph Ganger, outgoing senior enlisted leader of 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, Task Force Iron, with the Polish Armed Forces Medal during the NATO Multinational Battlegroup transfer of authority ceremony at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, Sept. 22, 2025. The award recognized Ganger’s contributions and leadership during his rotation in Poland. This is the 16th rotation of the NATO Multinational Battlegroup at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, where U.S. and Allied partners train together to strengthen readiness, build trust, and demonstrate NATO’s commitment to collective defense.
