    100th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    U.S Army Lt. Col. John Nimmons commander of 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and Maj. Jordan Woodburn, acting commander of 1st Battalion, 64th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Task Force Iron, signs transfer of authority documents during the transfer of authority ceremony at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland on Sept. 22, 2025. The ceremony marked the official handover of responsibilities from the outgoing unit to 3-8 cavalry. This is the 16th rotation of the NATO Multinational Battlegroup at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, where U.S. and Allied partners train together to strengthen readiness, build trust, and demonstrate NATO’s commitment to collective defense.
