(Sep. 16, 2025) – Chief Personnel Specialist Jason Flores, left, assigned to commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), has his chief petty officer (CPO) cover donned by his mentor, Chief Operations Specialist Alexander Favreau, also assigned to CNSP, during a CPO pinning ceremony held aboard Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado. During the ceremony, seven selectees were promoted to the rank of CPO as part of a unique tradition in the U.S. Navy that signifies promotion to a crucial position of leadership and responsibility.
