PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Sept. 8, 2025) - Command Master Chief, Naval Sea Systems Command, CMDCM Blake Schimmel receives an overview of test equipment used in Joint Oil Analysis Program (JOAP) at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Sept. 8, 2025. Schimmel spent several days speaking with shipyard Sailors about a variety of issues. In addition, he provided guidance while answering questions during an all-hands event. PHNSY & IMF’s mission is to keep the Navy’s fleet “Fit to Fight" by repairing, maintaining, and modernizing the Navy's fast-attack submarines and surface ships.
