The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds demonstration team performs a six-aircraft pass in their F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft during the 2025 Cleveland National Air Show, held at Burke Lakefront Airport, Sept. 1, 2025. The 910th Airlift Wing, based at nearby Youngstown Air Reserve Station, Ohio, participated in the air show with a C-130H Hercules aircraft demonstration flight and a static display of the wing’s first C-130J-30 Super Hercules aircraft. The C-130H aircraft demonstration flight showed off the aircraft’s capabilities while the C-130J-30 static display gave guests the opportunity to get an up-close look at the state-of-the-art plane and talk with aircrew and maintenance personnel. The 910th welcomed the first two of eight new C-130J-30 aircraft to YARS last year and anticipates the arrival of the remaining six aircraft before the end of 2026 as it transitions from the C-130H, which the wing has flown since 1994.
