Airmen from the New York Air National Guard’s 106th Rescue Wing Security Forces Squadron practice Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) during a Defender Challenge at Francis S. Gabreski, Westhampton Beach, N.Y., September 7, 2025. A Defender Challenge is a Security Forces competition that test skills in physical fitness, weapons handling, base ground tactics and operational skills.
