The WTQM course, taught by the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center, based in St. Joseph, Missouri, includes training in the uploading of expendables in the ALE-47 Chaff and Flare Systems, as well as explosive safety, expendables operations, and practical flare loading operations, utilizing training munitions items on mobility aircraft. This course was a proof-of-concept for the mobile training team model, whereby instructors traveling to regional locations would create a financial and logistical incentive for area units interested in sending their munition specialists to attend.
