U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Brian Wolfe, a munitions instructor with the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center, conducts a proof-of-concept Weapon Task Qualification Manager/Munitions Training Course, for C-130 Hercules maintainers, at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, August 7, 2024. The WTQM course, taught by the AATTC, based in St. Joseph, Missouri, includes training in the uploading of expendables in the ALE-47 Chaff and Flare Systems, as well as explosive safety, expendables operations, and practical flare loading operations, utilizing training munitions items on mobility aircraft. This course was a proof-of-concept for the mobile training team model, whereby instructors traveling to regional locations would create a financial and logistical incentive for area units interested in sending their munition specialists to attend.
