Jim Kilby renders a salute to sideboys as he departs the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), during a visit to Naval Base San Diego Sep. 8. While aboard, Kilby spoke with the ship's leadership about its readiness, and recognized Sailors for their achievements with challenge coins.
