U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Lacey Hamilton from New Castle, Del., runs alongside fellow Team Army competitors during track and field practice May 7, 2013. Hamilton, along with 49 other Army wounded warriors, will be representing the Army in the upcoming 2013 Warrior Games. Despite sustaining a number of injuries during her deployment to Afghanistan, the New Castle, Del., native says she looks fondly on her time there. “Given the opportunity, I would do it all over again,” she said. Since 2010, the Warrior Games have brought together wounded, ill or injured service members to compete. This year, the Warrior Games will include wounded warriors from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Special Operations Command and the United Kingdom.
