Staff Sgt. Desaray Kalnai, a regimental enlisted strength manager assigned to the human resource section, Higher Headquarters Troop, Support Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2CR), processes paperwork for notionally deceasedand injured soldiers to have them replaced in their units across multiple training areas during exercise Saber Junction 25 at Amberg Training Area, Germany, Sept. 6, 2025. The Joint Multinational Readiness Center's exercise consists of synchronized command and control, fire support, logistics, and maneuver planning and execution using simulations and live fire drills while utilizing NATO operational processes and doctrine. Over the course of the training, 2CR incorporates structural and doctrinal changes aligned with U.S. Army’s initiatives to become more mobile, lethal and able to rapidly respond to crises.
