O’Connor and Dayton participate in many Coast Guard safety events to increase awareness of paddle sport safety due to it’s growing popularity. Sector crews hosted the open house event for all ages, which included boat tours, safety demonstrations, important boating safety tips from the Auxiliary and interactive displays from partner emergency response agencies.
