April Arciva shows her son, Eric Bermudez, the Better Bear given to him by Life Scout Reis Hill at Winn Army Community Hospital’s emergency room. Reis created the bears for her Eagle Scout project to help comfort children visiting the ER. Arciva said the gesture showed people still care and would give children something to look back on fondly.
