An AS350-B3 helicopter, piloted by personnel with El Paso Air Branch, Air and Marine Operations (AMO), U.S. Custom and Border Protection (CBP), takes-off from El Paso International Airport, Texas, Aug. 20, 2025. During this deliberate operation, UH-72 Lakota helicopters assigned to Joint Task Force-South Border (JTF-SB) operated in coordination with AMO to identify the sources of laser activity targeting aircrafts supporting southern border security. JTF-SB Border executes full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations in support of CBP to protect the territorial integrity of the United States and achieve 100% operational control of the southern border.
