JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (August 22, 2025) – Capt. Miguel Dieguez and family prepared to be piped ashore for the final time, during a retirement ceremony aboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Prior to retiring after a 28-year naval career, Capt. Dieguez turned over command of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southeast to Capt. Matthew Williams during a change of command ceremony. Rear Adm. Jorge Cuadros, commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Atlantic, presided over both ceremonies.
