U.S. Army 1st Lt. Carl Hill, assigned to 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, fires his M-9 pistol to zero during the Joint Multinational Training Command Best Officer Competition on Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, May 7, 2013 The four-day competition challenges soldiers and noncommissioned officers - all of who have previously competed to be named the best in their units, to prove their skills in military knowledge, leadership, and endurance - in the warrior tasks and drills critical to success and survival on the modern battlefield. The winners will go on to compete in the Europe-wide U.S. Army Europe's (USAREUR) Best Warrior Competition beginning August 2013.
