U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Carlos A. Ruiz, the 20th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, visits Marines with I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 20, 2025. During his visit, Ruiz and his spouse, Andrea Ruiz, participated in a Single Parent Town Hall hosted by Marine Corps Installations West, where they addressed concerns relating to a 21st century family. Ruiz also visited Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity to gain insight on new technology, spoke with Marines from the Staff Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and toured barracks on Camp Pendleton.
