(Aug. 21, 2025) –Commander James Angerman, Commanding Officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 11, stands at ease with the Naval Expeditionary Combat Command 2024 Battle Effectiveness “E” Award while Captain Jacob Segalla (right) Commodore of Naval Construction Group TWO (NCG 2), addresses the command at morning quarters, on board Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, Miss., Aug. 21, 2025. The Battle “E” is awarded annually to the small number of United States Navy ships, submarines, aviation, and other deployable combat coded units that win their battle effectiveness competition.
