U.S. Army Soldiers load simulated casualties onto a transport bus in preparation for evacuation during a mass casualty exercise at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Aug. 19, 2025. The exercise is part of Ulchi Freedom Shield 25, an annual training event that enhances the combined defense posture and strengthens Republic of Korea-U.S. alliance response capabilities against a wide range of security threats. Multiple units collaborated to provide medical care and transport simulated casualties to treatment facilities, including the Camp Humphreys Fire Department, 65th Medical Brigade and 94th Military Police Battalion.
