A U.S. Marine Corps F-35 B Lightning II, attached to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 533, Marine Aircraft Group 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, takes off from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during ARCTIC EDGE 25 (AE25) Aug. 11, 2025. This specialized Artic field training provides pilots and enablers valuable real-world experience ensuring continued operational readiness throughout the region.
