YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 12, 2025) – Rear Adm. Matthew Case, acting assistant director, Health Care Administration, Defense Health Agency, meets with Vice Adm. Fred W. Kacher, commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, aboard the flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The leaders discussed fleet medical readiness, health care delivery in the Indo-Pacific, and continued coordination between the Defense Health Agency and U.S. 7th Fleet medical teams. The event was part of a two-day engagement that included leadership meetings, an All-Hands Call, a junior Sailor lunch, and tours of the hospital’s facilities.
