U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, participate in explosive demolition training in Darwin, Australia, Aug. 16, 2025. The training is essential for Marines to develop the expertise required to safely employ explosives for breaching, obstacle reduction and hazard clearance, ensuring mobility and operational effectiveness in combat and contingency environments. MRF-D is part of an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and Allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
