Simpson was promoted by Maj. Gen. Keith D. Reventlow, commanding general, LOGCOM, and pinned by Sgt. Maj. Marshall H. Gregg, senior enlisted advisor, LOGCOM, and Capt. Joshua R. Ingram, aide-de-camp, LOGCOM.
A Rockport, Texas, native, Simpson currently serves as the commanding general’s driver. Reflecting on the influence of those he has served with, he said, “I have learned so much from the leaders I have served under, and those I have had the privilege to lead have inspired me to strive every day to be worthy of their trust and dedication.”
